Dirty job, sparkling freetime, welcome to a Au Pairs Job.

Takana aivan upea viikonloppu! Friends, party, nyc... what else could I ask? This Au Pair job is sometimes so shitty that we Au Pairs need to have fabulous weekends to remind us why we are here. That is exactly what I did. I was partying the both nights with my friends and I had a good time. I mean, how cool is that, party and friends in New York City. And u got it, NYC! Walking at the streets with your beautiful party dress... trying to catch a cab like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. Pinching myself and saying it aloud " Jennika, you r living your dream. Look around you. You are in the Big Apple, City that never sleeps, you made your dream come true. Catch the moment, live it, enjoy it and don`t forget why u r here". Maybe a sentence everyone should take advice from no matter where u r living in this busy world? And ofc, don`t forget to hold on things that makes you happy!

But back to my weekend...

Both nights: Empire hotel rooftop. Amazing place! If u ever get a chance to go there, go! Good music, people... and  great restrooms, why?  ( if your feet starts to hurt after wearing high heels u can actually buy a pair of flipflops. There is also perfum and make up if u need to fix sth after maybe a good time at the dance floor... and for those who wants sth sweet with the drinks, lollipops ) .

Before the party at saturday I spend some time with Juulia in NYC. We went to the Brooklyn Bridge, walked a little bit around and took a subway back to Penn. We had some time to spend before the train left, so we ended up to a dress shop. Ofc we found some pretty dresses for the night!

The night was great and we had so much fun!

Yesterday was more "chilling around day". Skyping with friends and family, enjoying of good Red Curry at a restaurant in Maplewood village. Hanging around at Oonaghs place in Finnish style ( ja tän mä pystyn kirjoittamaan suomeksi ! Kaakaota, pandan lakua, Anna`s piparkakkuja ja homejuustoa joulumusiikin kera). Ou, and last but not least, enjoying of a great movie ( with great seats ) Hungergames 2.

Anteeksi, sorry mummut, että teksti tuli englanniksi tällä kertaa, mutta Suomi ei taittunut tänään ollenkaan.
Ja tänään muuten havahduin ensimmäistä kertaa siihen, että en oikeastaan osaa mitään kieltä 100% hyvin. Kaikissa kielissä kielioppi on mitä on.... Hmm.
